Comments: I was scanning my fathers WWII letters to my mother into my computer when I noticed something exciting. Below the date on the letter (Nov.10 1945) he wrote "East China - Yellow Sea" LST 794. He was enroute to Korea from Okinawa when he wrote the letter. I was very happy to find so much info on LST 794! Now I know a little bit about the ship he was on and have photo's of it. In his letter he writes how sick he felt from the rough seas...he was Army, not Coast Gaurd or Navy. Thanks to all the crew for getting him to Jinsen safely!
